Jeffrey F. Kindschuh
Founder, President
Jeff graduated from Rice University in 1976 with a degree in Economics followed by an MBA from American Graduate School of International Management in 1978. Jeff began his professional life in global distribution and logistics before discovering structural restoration and waterproofing. Structural restoration involves the analysis of failure, be there aging structures, construction defects or lack of maintenance — it was this forensic approach that appealed to Jeff and led him to found his own company, CRX, in 1993, where “before we had a customer, we had a purpose.”
In his own words: “I have had the good fortune to be mentored by some of the best minds and leaders in business including CEOs and executives from major material manufacturers, engineers, architects, lawyers, accountants, bankers and, most importantly, my father. The dedication of these professionals to their craft is modeled in my business behavior "as steel sharpens steel". My early introduction and work with these individuals honed my business strategy and enabled me to develop a successful business platform.
Alex Kindschuh
Vice President, Operations Management
After graduating from St. Edwards University, Alex came back to Houston, ready to start working full-time in the family business. As a child, he spent most of his time on job sites, in the warehouse, and watching his father work. As an adult, he’s distinguished himself in the field — his accomplishments include: being nominated to ICRI’s National 40 Under 40 list in 2021, being selected to serve on the International Concrete Repair Institutes Board for the Houston Chapter as Vice President (2021-2023), serving as a Steering Committee member for the AGC Speciality Contractor Council (2021-2023) — while attending Rice University Jones Graduate School of Business, class of 2023.
Maggie Kindschuh Mann
Business Development
Maggie grew up in Texas, trailing after her father on construction sites during school breaks. She attended Reed College, getting as far from Texas as she could manage, and studied History & Economics. After college, Maggie made another cross-country move to New York City. Over the next 8 years, she acquired a culinary degree and quickly worked her way up at notable restaurant groups, Craft Restaurant and Momofuku Milk Bar. Her chefs recognized her aptitude for creative project management: she designed Milk Bar’s growth plans and handled the buildout of numerous cafes and restaurants. After returning to Texas, she turned her attention to larger construction projects, notably the LINE hotel, an adaptive reuse project in the heart of Downtown Austin and the South Congress Hotel, a ground up construction project conceived by locals. Maggie and her husband have two children.
